How do I block or unblock a user?
Blocking and Unblocking Users
If another player is bothering you or you simply don’t want to see their content, you can block them directly from the app. Blocking is private, the other player will not be notified.
How to Block a User
Step 1: Go to the User’s Profile
Navigate to the user’s profile by tapping on their avatar or by drilling into them from the leaderboard.
Step 2: Open the Menu
Tap the three dots (⋯) icon in the top-right corner of their profile page.
Step 3: Select “Block User”
From the menu, tap Block User. A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm.
Step 4: Confirm
Tap Block to confirm. The user is now blocked.
How to Unblock a User
Step 1: Go to the Blocked User’s Profile
Navigate back to the profile of the user you previously blocked.
Step 2: Open the Menu
Tap the three dots (⋯) icon in the top-right corner of their profile page.
Step 3: Select “Unblock User”
From the menu, tap Unblock User. The user will be unblocked immediately — no confirmation is needed.
What Happens When I Block Someone?
- Their submissions are hidden: Anywhere you would normally see their challenge submissions in the feed, you’ll see a notice that you have blocked this user instead.
- Their comments are hidden: Their comments will also be replaced with a blocked notice.
- It’s private: The blocked user is not notified that you have blocked them.
- It doesn’t affect others: Other players can still see the blocked user’s content normally. Blocking only affects what you see.
What Happens When I Unblock Someone?
- Their submissions and comments will become visible to you again immediately.
- Any content they posted while blocked will also become visible.

Blocking a user does not report their content. If you believe their content is inappropriate, you should also report it separately.

If you are experiencing harassment or feel unsafe, please contact your event organizer and consider reporting the specific content in addition to blocking the user.
