How do I unlock or make challenges visible at a specific time?

A Scheduled Challenge Unlock lets you reveal one or more challenges at a specific start time.

Unlike a timed challenge, there is no countdown for players to complete the challenge in. Once unlocked, those challenges stay unlocked for the rest of the Event.

1. Open the Schedule Tab

From your Event in Edit view, open the Schedule tab.

Click + Add Timeline Entry (or edit an existing entry).

2. Choose Scheduled Challenge Unlock

In the timeline entry form:

  • Set Type to Scheduled Challenge Unlock
  • Set the Scheduled Start Time
  • Add a Name and optional Description

3. Add Challenges to the Entry

In Event Challenges, add one or more challenges you want this entry to unlock.

You can include any challenge types (photo, video, trivia, text, GPS, survey, etc.) as long as they belong to the Event.

4. Save the Timeline Entry

After saving:

  • Before the start time, those challenges remain hidden to players
  • At scheduled challenge unlock start time, all challenges in the entry become visible to players in the app
  • After unlock, they stay available for the rest of the Event
