Thrillify Account Deletion
Warning: Once your Account is deleted it cannot be recovered! The action is permanent!
How to Request
Option 1: Request via the App
From the App, go to the You tab, press the gear icon, go to Preferences. Press the “Delete My Account” button and follow the instructions.
Option 2: Request via the Thrillify Backstage
Log in to the Thrillify Backstage, navigate to your profile from the top right menu, press the Delete Account button and follow the instructions.
What to Expect
Your account and associated data should be immediately deleted. You should receive feedback that this has been successfully completed and you should be logged out.
Data Deleted
Most data associated with your account will be deleted, including but not limited to:
- The account itself.
- Your own challenge submissions, including photos, videos, and other submitted artifacts for any Events you participated in.
- Any comments you made on challenge submissions or other comments you made in the App.
- Your profile information, including your display name and avatar image.
Your Organization will be deleted if there are no other collaborators that belong to it when you delete your account. To delete your Organization, remove all other collaborators from the organization first (if any exist) from the Thrillify Backstage and then request your own account to be deleted.
If the Organization is deleted, most data associated with the organization will be deleted, including but not limited to:
- All Events, Challenges, and other associated data.
- All challenge submissions for all events, including photos, videos, and other submitted artifacts.
Data Retained
Some data may be retained after your Account and/or Organization is deleted:
- Organization metadata like name and id.
- Purchased product information and transactions.
- Team and Event metadata for Events participated in.
- Usage and analytics data.
- Crash reports and error logs that are necessary for the continued operation of the Application.
- Backend server logs for actions taken by you.
- Any data may be retained in backups for up to 7 days after the deletion request is processed.
Your Organization and any Events and data associated with it will not be deleted if there are any other collaborators associated with your Organization when your Account is deleted.
