What does it mean to be on a team?
Being on a team in Thrillify means you’re working together with friends (or other players) toward the same goal: earning points and climbing the leaderboard.
All members of a team can contribute to challenges, but there are a few rules to keep in mind:
Submitting Challenges as a Team
- A team can only earn points for a given challenge once.
- If multiple teammates complete the same challenge, the first submission that successfully syncs to the cloud is the one that counts for points.
- Additional submissions of that challenge by teammates won’t award extra points, but they will still appear in the team’s feed for everyone to see.
- Once a challenge has been completed and sync is successful, it’s marked as completed for the entire team and can’t be re-done for points.
Timed Challenges
The same rules apply to timed challenges:
- Only the first teammate to complete each challenge as a part of a timed challenge will secure the points for the team.
Why Teams Are Fun
- Divide and conquer: Teammates can split up to cover more ground and tackle different challenges.
- Collaboration: Some challenges are easier (and funnier) when you get your whole team involved.
- Shared leaderboard: All points earned go toward your team’s total, so you’re always working together.
Key Takeaways
- Every challenge can only award points once per team.
- The first teammate to sync their submission wins the points for the whole team.
- Teams allow you to strategize, share the workload, and celebrate together as you climb the leaderboard.
